Xochitl Rivera Garfias born in the state of Mexico on December 26, 1979. Her father is from Oaxaca and her mother from Guanajuato , lives most of his life in Los Remedios where she acquired a taste for natural and unique blend with the urban state of Naucalpan Mexico has always been her passion was the design of visual elements and atavios body.
Xochitl studied photography at the College of Mexican photography in the center of Naucalpan de Juarez.

In 2000 she and Armando Ruiz (visual artist) begin various projects together.

In early 2003 along with Armando Xochitl decides that is necessary to change the "air" of Mexico City for the life of camp, so moving into the state of Oaxaca, to be precise to the mountains in the northern town of San Ildefonso Villa Alta, there performed one of her most ambitious work, decorate the walls inside of theSan Ildefonso Villa Alta church that work would lead since early February 2004 until October of that year.

In November 2004 the gallery opened Ishuakara in the city of Oaxaca a few steps away from Santo Domingo, creating art and artistic jewelry.

Despite the love she felt for her gallery, it had to close in December 2005 to allow life to the study Ishuakara that has also been called "Roof Top Studio" on the top floor of the same address in the center of Oaxaca.

Filming in conjunction with Tami Gold (filmmaker) and Armando Ruiz, a documentary about the women of Oaxaca and migration, still in process.

In 2007, traveling through Mexico to give art workshops and painting murals while designing their collections.

Now Xochitl still designing jewelry with semi-precious stones, seeds that get in his travels and ceramic pieces that she creates in her study of Oaxaca.
